Privacy Policy

The short version: Rhodi is played locally on one phone. We don't want your data, we want your game night.

1. Who we are

Rhodi is a social party game app operated by Rhodi Labs (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the Rhodi app and this website handle, and the choices you have. Questions are always welcome at support@rhodi.app.

2. What the app collects

Rhodi is designed to run without an account. Games are played in person, on a single device, and your gameplay stays on that device:

  • Player names and game settings are stored locally on your device only, so your group is remembered between sessions. They are never uploaded to us.
  • Purchase status: if you buy premium content (Rhodi Plus), the purchase is processed entirely by Apple’s App Store or Google Play. We receive only an anonymous confirmation that unlocks the content; we never see your payment details.
  • Basic diagnostics: the app stores (Apple/Google) may share aggregated, non-identifying crash and usage statistics with us to help keep the app stable.

3. What we don't do

  • We do not sell or rent personal information. There is essentially none to sell.
  • We do not require accounts, logins, or profiles.
  • We do not track you across other apps or websites.

4. This website

The Rhodi website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If you join the launch list, we collect your email address, the updates you chose to receive, when you consented, and where the signup came from. We use that information only to send the Rhodi launch notification and any optional Rhodi news you requested.

Signup records are stored in our self-hosted PostgreSQL database. We may use an email-delivery provider to send messages and process delivery failures or unsubscribe requests. We do not sell or rent the list, and we do not silently add launch-only subscribers to an ongoing newsletter.

If you use the website feedback form, we store the topic, your optional name, your message, and the submission time so we can review and act on it. Please do not put passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information in a feedback message. You can ask us to delete feedback that identifies you.

We may run privacy-focused analytics to understand page visits, button usage, and performance. We may also use an error-monitoring service to receive limited technical diagnostics when the website fails. We do not intentionally send form contents or email addresses to those tools, use them for advertising, or use them to track you across unrelated websites.

5. Children

Rhodi is a group game intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because gameplay data never leaves the device, playing with younger family members does not send us anything about them.

6. Your choices

Every marketing email will provide a way to unsubscribe. You can also ask us to remove your signup, or change which Rhodi updates you receive, by contacting support@rhodi.app and we will help. Deleting the app separately removes all locally stored game data from your device.

7. Changes to this policy

If Rhodi ever changes how it handles data (for example, by adding online features), we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above before those changes take effect.
